Whole Hog | February 17, 2025 slaughter | Solar Meats (Soldier's Grove)

$100.00
Sold Out

Our heritage mix hogs enjoy unrestricted access to pasture every day of their lives. Their diet is supplemented only by organic crops that we raise on our farm:  corn, sprouted wheat, hay, pumpkins and apples.  A whole hog is typically around 180 lbs.  We are asking $3/lb, and buyer is also responsible for their processing fee at the butcher shop (This can range from $1.50/lb- $4/lb depending on what cuts/cures are opted for)  $100 down payment secures your half or whole, and is applied to your total once we get the weights from the butcher shop.  PICK-UP FROM THE BUTCHER SHOP ONLY. Meat is typically ready to be picked up about 2 weeks after the slaughter date, depending on what cuts and cures you opt for. Please be sure to select the butcher shop (Weber's or Solar Meats) that works best for you for pick-up.
